Change PIN Code (with a Software Token) #
Below is the procedure for changing the PIN code if you know the PIN code that is currently set.
(The procedure on this page is also used to change the initial PIN code when using the software token for the first time.)

Points to note when setting up #
- PIN code is a fixed string password. And it must be numeric characters, alphabetic characters (case-sensitive), and symbols.
- PIN code must be at least 4 digits.
- Never use the same PIN code as other systems (credit card/bank account, etc.).
- Before changing the PIN code, the software token must be activated (initialized).
How to change your PIN code #

Open the login page ( https://kekpl.kek.jp/ui/) of this authentication system.
If you choose [en] in the pull-down for language selection, the website will be in English.

Enter your “user ID” and click [Next].
(User ID is the same as userid used for VPN connection.) -
View the One Time Password from the software token application (PassClipL) on your smartphone.
Type the “One Time Password (6 digits) displayed by the software token application (PassClip L)” + “PIN code” in the field.
Then click [Login].
(For the PIN code, enter the PIN code currently set.
When changing the initial-PIN Code, enter the PIN code from the email with the subject line “Your registration to KEK VPN new authentication by software token (smartphone application) has been completed.”.)How to submit a One Time Password? 1.Please open the Software Token app (PassClip L) on your smartphone, and tap [PassLogic (KEK VPN)]. 2.The One Time Password will then be displayed. In the case of the image above, the one-time password is “220937”. - You should enter your PIN code followed after the 6-digit one-time password in the password field.

Click on [Settings].

Enter the new 4-digit or higher PIN code you wish to set in the PIN Code field.
Then click [Next].
(Please delete the originally entered “****” before entering.) -
Click on [Register].

When the message “Auhtentication Parameter Registration Successful” is displayed, the PIN code change is complete.
(The “Auhtentication Parameter Registration Successful” message will disappear in a few seconds.)
After completing the settings, please [Logout].
