The Particle Adventure: Main Project Outline

Home I'M LOST!

The Particle Adventure was written to inform the public about particle physics and to be an information resource about particle physics that is accessible to everyone. The project is designed to introduce the theory of fundamental particles and interactions, called the Standard Model, justify this theory with experimental evidence, then discuss the questions raised about the theory. In addition, the project provides information on particle decay and a very brief history section. Here's a diagram of this site's organization:

For a more complete outline, please refer to the Particle Adventure roadmap.

The major organization element of this site is the home page. The Particle Adventure Home Page provides links to the three major branches of information (called "paths" because people are encouraged to follow pages sequentially), the two sub-paths, and the Complete Menu.

For a complete understanding of the goal and organization or each path of information, explore the outline of each path. The Table of Contents offers a complete listing of the pages associated with each path.
